Art of War 14 PPV Livestream Details

PRESS RELEASE

Don’t miss out on Art of War 14 presented by City Lee Gar the longest standing New Zealand combat gym. City Lee Gar was established in 1975 by Grandmaster Phillip Lam. You can watch the show LIVE this FRIDAY 16TH APRIL, 6:30PM NZT (UTC +12).

City Lee Gar and its subsidiary gyms such as Balmoral Lee Gar under coach Lolo Heimuli have produced a plethora of well known past Champions including Ray Sefo, Shane "Choppa" Chapman, Eddy"The Heat" Tongalahi Lee to name a few.

For this exciting evening of fights Hayden Todd is taking on City Lee Gars own Terrence ‘The Machine Gun’ Montgomery in the main event. Terrence is formally trained by (former head striking coach of Bali MMA). ‘’Fighting a veteran in Hayden, I think the aptly named 'Machine Gun' will fire hard and fast. His ability to step up in big fights is his biggest trait, and I think the challenge of fighting a NZ great will spur him even more so for a win. Knowing Terrence, he will have a few moves up his sleeve being with the Lee Gar crew and I think on Friday night he will once again show why he holds a lot of respect from people in the fight community.” - Mike Ikilei

“For the Co Main event Roezala Su'e ( Auckland MMA) is taking on Geovana Peres, who became the WBO Women's Light-heavyweight Boxing champion of the world 2 years ago. This fight could steal the show as she switches up codes to dazzle the crowd. I'm really excited to watch both Roezala and Terrence fighting this weekend, after having the pleasure of coaching both quite a bit.

Roezala has a great chance in upsetting the WBO Champ(Geovana Peres) as she transitions into the world of kicking. So I'm picking a win for chop chop, too many tools in the arsenal, and she always looks great under the guidance of Hamish and the family at Auckland MMA. Remember we took her over to the GAMMA world champs a year and a half ago for her first ever MMA fight and she won a gold at the World Champs, so now the first NZ woman (maybe fighter) to hold a gold in the IFMA for Muay Thai and the gold in world MMA tournament, as well as a number of NZ titles. So I'm picking a Roezala win, born into this game she is. Whatever happens I reckon that will be the fight of the night (sorry Terrence).”
